Thank you for your interest in covering the Dalai Lama’s visit to Chicago. Due to the overwhelming number of requests we receive, press access is limited and subject to approval. Only working press will be invited to cover; we are not able to accommodate guests. 

The Dalai Lama is not available to do one-on-one interviews in advance, on-site or post event, although other spokespeople are available.

Please note: for security reasons, everyone who attends the event will be screened and press equipment will be searched prior to the event.  Recording and photography access will be limited.
